वास्तु-पुरुष-मण्डलम् · classical architectural grid
The vāstu maṇḍala
The 81-pada Paramaśāyika grid, its 45 vāstu-devatās, the eight direction-deities, and the classical plot rules — cited from Mayamatam, Mānasāra, and Bṛhat-Saṃhitā Ch. 52–56. The geometry is exact; the auspice-grades are tradition.
Vāstu is a classical architectural tradition, not a science-claim. Grid geometry and citations are exact; classifications are cultural record — no fear, no remedies, no predictions.

Rule notes from the sources
- Rectangular plot (āyatāsra) — acceptable when length:width ≤ 1.5; orient long axis N–S or E–W.
- Pūrva-mukha (East-facing) — entrance under Sūrya/Indra; classical auspicious for residences.
- Avoid any cut (chidra) in the NE (Īśāna) corner — classical grave-defect; preserve the Īśāna quadrant fully.
- Keep the central Brahma-sthāna of the built area open — no pillar, lavatory, or heavy mass.
Rule notes restate the cited śāstras verbatim in summary form — classifications are the tradition's, displayed without embellishment or fear-framing.
