Bharat Ephemeris exists to prove a simple point: India's astronomical tradition can be run as living mathematics, measured against the best modern references, and published without embarrassment. Sūrya-Siddhānta mean motions, the Kerala school's corrections of 1501, and honestly-labelled observation-fitted layers — no foreign code at runtime.
The numbers are public: Sun within ~0.1′ (p95) and Moon within ~1′ of NASA/JPL Horizons, every graha within 3.3′ worst-case across fifty years, verified on 1,000 stratified samples spanning 2000–2050.
Jyotiṣa, as we practise it, is a structural language — positions, periods, geometries. It can be studied, taught and discussed without fear. That conviction shapes every product decision here.
The ethic, in four lines
- Predictions only when computed and dated — never guessed.
- No fear, no doom, no doṣa-and-cure sales funnel.
- No fabricated testimonials; the accuracy table is the marketing.
- Every claim measurable, every method published.
