Pārāśara opens with cosmogony — the unfolding of unmanifest tattva through Brahmā, Viṣṇu and Maheśa into the manifest substrate of jyotiṣa. The grahas are introduced as cosmic operators issuing from the Trimūrti triad, with their colours, deities, and elemental natures. This adhyāya establishes the philosophical frame within which all subsequent technique operates.
